Founded in 1923 by George Oliver snr. the company was handed over to the next generation, also George Oliver. Now run by his son Douglas, the 6th consecutive joiner in the family, and still in the same workshop in St.Boswells.

Up to date machinery in our workshop includes a 3 axis CNC router which can cut direct from computer drawings and a tilting spindle moulder which can run most types and sizes of mouldings. All machinery being run through a modern dust extraction system to ensure a safe environment for our workforce

No job is too small for us to undertake, from producing a short length of moulding to match your sample to a house extention
We can replace your locks, glaze windows, supply and fit timber or uPVC doors and windows and can obtain planning permission if required for replacement in conservation areas.
House signs are a speciallity on our cnc and we can mail order or deliver and fix if required.
We are ‘Factory Trained’ and registered with ‘Velux’ for the supply, repair and installation of their rooflights.
If you require timber treatment or have any damp problems we can offer a full treatment service backed up by a long established chemical company who offer a 30 year guarantee on any injection and renovation work carried out by us.
